Report Summary

Arrest made after marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms found in vehicle

On November 6, 2025, at approximately 11:31 PM, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle at the intersection of Fair Road and Chandler Road in Statesboro, Georgia. The stop was initiated for a headlight and seatbelt violation.

During the investigation, the odor of marijuana was detected emanating from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of over an ounce of suspected marijuana, over an ounce of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, a scale, and numerous sandwich baggies.
